Well, I'm still bummed about missing out on the slides, but I thought I'd talk about Gore. All in all, it was a sweet weekend. Nothing chest deep, but it was definitely knee deep or more in the glades on Saturday and Sunday morning. Upper Chatiemac Glades were SWEET, and totally windloaded...

How were the slides on Saturday? I wish I was there, but I made the ill-fated decision to ski Gore. Don't get me wrong, Gore was great, but I've never skied the slides and feel as though I may have missed my best chance. Give it to me straight . . . how was it?!?!?!?!

According to the website, they've opened up Rumor. This is probably the lower part, below the headwall, coming in off of the cutoff on Hawkeye. But it's still good news. Now if only we could get mother nature to cooperate. :x
