What do you think they'll have open on opening day?

I'm questioning whether to add to the ski quiver (something around 88 mm at the waist to complement my pairs that are 68, 78, and 105) or to buy an avalanche beacon/probe/shovel combo (which I'd be able to get a a great price). I'm going to try to do more BC this year, and there is that...

What's the Hardest (on the map) trail at Gore?

About the parking, can I just say how great this past weekend was? Saturday was bluebird (with no wind) and really nice packed powder conditions, trees were open, and people were having fun. Sunday was phenomenal. 7-8 inches of fresh (estimated), trees were a playground, Dark Side Glades...

What day do you think it will open? I say Jan. 14th below the headwall, and Jan. 16th from the top.
